Hi, I’m Jen, not Jennifer. Jen.

I design, travel, watch baseball and listen to emo punk rock.

I am currently working for Crew Training International (CTI) as a graphic designer creating all the images, infographics, and multimedia interactions used  in the training curriculum for the US Navy. 

I graduated from San Diego State University with a bachelors in Graphic Design and spent the years after working freelance jobs and in restaurants and bars. My experience in customer service taught me to be patient, hard working and collaborative with my fellow teammates. I adapted these skills to support my design career. 

Throughout the years I have grown and realized that I wanted to learn more so I completed the UX Design Professional Certification from Google to become a UX Designer and pivot my career focus to the user experience side of design. Through UX design I discovered that I can help improve the lives of others through research and deliberate, visually pleasing design solutions to make products more useful, usable, inclusive and accessible.
